Dan is a singer-songwriter and professional musician performing solo shows in nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities all across Massachusetts. He also performs shows with his band (“The Dan Daniels Band”) in concerts around the state, doing original songs from his three well-received CD’s, some newer yet unrecorded songs, as well as some great cover songs that fit with his Americana-country-folk approach.
With his former band, “Dan Daniels and Your No Good Buddies”, he put out three CD’s of all original Americana music, two of which received the LiveWire Award from Mass Live’s and the Springfield Republican’s music critic Donnie Morehouse, as among the best local CD’s of 2007 and 2010. He has plans for a fourth CD upcoming.
He began his work as an entertainer in senior living facilities in 2010 and has been doing over 200 shows per year since 2012. Dan has developed at least 26 different shows that he does featuring songs from many eras and genres (Country, 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll and Folk Music). These shows are always entertaining and often educational as well (A History of Country Music, A History of Folk Music for example)
He has also done a number of performances at local libraries and senior centers doing these educational and entertaining shows for general audiences. Descriptions of some of these shows can be found under the “Solo Shows” heading.
